The segment of Android tablets is showing no signs of a slowdown as companies keep pushing new products. Its NBTC listing does not reveal much of its specifications, only confirms it has LTE connectivity. Interestingly, the Oppo OPD2303 model number was related to the OnePlus Pad Go. This means the OnePlus Pad Go will actually launch as Oppo Pad Neo. Considering it’s the same tablet, the specifications are similar, and we will find more details about these specifications below.
The Oppo Pad Neo will pack a 11.35-inch LCD screen with a 2.4K resolution and 7:5 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the tablet will come with the MediaTek Helio G99 with up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of Internal Storage. The tablet will draw powers from an 8,000 mAh battery with USB Type-C port.
In terms of optics, the tablet will have an 8 MP selfie camera and an 8 MP rear camera. For audio, the tablet is likely to feature four speakers with Dolby Atmos support. It will run on OxygenOS 13.2-based Android 13 and offer a micro SD card slot for additional storage.
Right now, there is no launch date for the tablet, but considering the NBTC certification approval, the tablet might be launched globally pretty soon. The Oppo Pad Neo is likely one more launch that comes as part of Oppo’s new strategy in the tablet segment. From a newcomer, the brand aims to become one of the most relevant names in this particular segment. Currently, Oppo stands as a leading smartphone brand, so it won’t be surprised to see it becoming one of the major players in the tablet segment in the forthcoming years.
